We are a newly launched multidisciplinary lab at the UC Berkeley School of Information. Our goals are:
Building on our collective expertise across multiple disciplines, we pursue a range of research and education initiatives: from participatory and speculative design activities to learn from diverse communities, to planet-centric monitoring tools based on remote sensing and AI; from interrogating the ethics and values of entrenched and emerging tools and discourses, to developing curricular innovations for future climate technologists. |
